So last week I happen to be sitting in my office, where I don't have caller ID, and I answer the phone. It's the Arbitron ratings people, who've already called several times and I've ignored them up until now. Only reason I even answered the phone is 1) I couldn't see the caller ID, and 2) I was expecting a phone call from somebody else.
So I say sure, WTF, I'll fill out your silly radio ratings card. Not like I listen to more than an hour of real radio in a given week anyway. I answer their marketing questions, and think I'll be rid of them.
Wrong.
Then the phone started ringing. Like every - single - day. More than once. It was Arbitron. I let it go through to the machine, "Don't forget to fill out your card." "Send in your card." "Just calling to remind you to fill in your card."
Then they started coming with caller id blocked. That was it, the last straw. And now that the ratings period is over, they're calling again, "Don't forget to send in your card."
Hey Arbitron, I was going to fill out your silly little f*cking card and send it back to you. But now I'm only going to write a big FU on it and send it back. You pissed me off with your nagging. If I wanted to get nagged I'd stay at home and listen to my wife.
Oh yeah, I get that already.
A Big SCREW YOU goes out to Arbitron Ratings, Inc. Like radio is relevant anymore anyway. Idiots.
